Practice Information
We are excited to announce our 6-7 weeks of cross-training to race fall cross season!
Practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday. There will be a focus on skills one day and a fitness-forward practice the other day. Time is 4:30-6 p.m. on those days.
Registration Requirements
Your child must be:
* at least 12 years old (ridden as a 6th grader or higher last season on the Sharks)
* ridden with the Sharks team, and/or raced on the Sharks Spring Mountain Bike Team.
* Interested in trying a race or more than one race this cross season.
Cost: $0 if you were registered with the Spring or Summer Sharks team.
Equipment
- Helmet, water bottles, any other gear you prefer.
- Remember this is a fall-winter sport so please be sure you dress according to conditions. That might mean longer bibs, or leg/arm warmers, heavier gloves, and long-sleeved jerseys.
- Cross bikes are great, but you can ride with a mountain bike.
