Our goal is to get more kids on bikes. We want all children to have a chance to ride with our team, and/or race. If there is an inability to provide equipment or pay registration fees please submit the form below and we will be in touch to see how we can help get your child riding with our team.

Is your child unsure if they want to mountain bike yet? If your child is uncertain if they want to ride, but would like to try a ride out first, please email [email protected]. You can register and receive a code for one free ride. After that you can decide if you want to register your child, and if you will need financial assistance.

CNY Mountain Bike Team, Inc. 2025 Financial Assistance Policy  Scope of Assistance Financial assistance is currently available to cover registration fees for the program. At this time, the CNY Mountain Bike Team is not positioned to provide equipment assistance (bikes, helmets, etc.). However, in the future, there may be occasions where a coach or another family in the program has extra equipment that can be loaned to kids interested in trying the program.  Application Process Interested families must complete a financial assistance application form that includes detailed information about the family’s financial situation and the need for assistance.  Application Criteria Household income and size Employment status of parents/guardians Participation in other assistance programs (e.g., free/reduced lunch, SNAP) Any special circumstances or hardships affecting the family’s financial situation  Verification Applicants may be asked to provide supporting documentation such as pay stubs, tax returns, or proof of participation in other assistance programs. Review Process Applications will be reviewed by the CNY Mountain Bike Team Board of Directors. The Board will assess each application based on the provided information and the established criteria. Families will be notified of the decision within four weeks of application submission. Approved applicants will receive registration instructions.   General Guidelines Confidentiality: All information in the financial assistance application will be kept confidential and used solely to determine eligibility. Frequency of Assistance: Assistance is provided on an annual basis. Families must reapply each year if continued support is needed. Expectations of Recipients: Families receiving financial assistance, like all families participating on the team, are encouraged to volunteer or otherwise contribute to the team, if possible. Examples include coaching, race support, team food prep, etc.
